I first became interested in films after his dad showed him Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. I was instantly hooked on the classic science fiction genre and wanted to create his own. When I saved up enough money to buy his first camera, I began to create my own movies, with my siblings and friends, in Spokane Washington. Early on, I knew that he wanted to work in the camera department. Upon arriving at CSUN, I immediately began making connections and creating short films. With a double major in Cinematography and Creative writing, I Graduated in 2012. Today, I works freelance as a camera op. My work includes shooting for Robert Townsend, lighting with ASC member Dean Cundy, assisting on the Mole Richardson stage and light for Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance. I also work regularly for Gary West Productions and have been going strong for over two years. I can be contacted anytime at: 818-610-9099 or duryeafilms@yahoo.com Look forward to working with you soon.
